Terms of Service

By using Mapboot ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using any Mapboot service, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Your content
You retain ownership of the maps, floor plans, labels, and other content you create or upload. By using the service, you grant Mapboot a limited license to host, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the service.
3. Subscription plans and pricing
Mapboot offers a range of subscription plans. We reserve the right to modify, adjust, or discontinue any plan, including its features, pricing, and usage limits, at any time. If a change materially affects your current subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice via email so you can decide how to proceed.
4. Free Map-Building Program
Mapboot may occasionally offer to build indoor maps for facilities at no charge as part of a promotional or partnership program ("Free Map-Building Program"). The following terms apply to maps created under this program:
- Maps and related imagery produced under the program remain the intellectual property of your facility.
- By participating, you grant Mapboot a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce the resulting maps for marketing, demonstration, portfolio, and promotional purposes.
- You will continue to have full access to the maps under the terms of your subscription plan.
- You may request that identifiable branding or facility names be removed from Mapboot's marketing materials at any time by contacting admin@mapboot.com.
Participants will be informed of these terms before any work begins.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — for example, by attempting to access it through means other than the provided interface, interfering with other users, or using the service for unlawful purposes.
6. Termination
You may stop using Mapboot at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, though provisions that by nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mapboot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you where appropriate. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
